Archive Code as it stands

I’ve read the support pages and I’ve searched the forum, so now I’m asking a question before I make a suggestion! Clear so far? Good – not sure I am yet.
I have used the [Archives] code to create an index page, but would like to include the date the entry was published and perhaps the number of comments or views or something as well.
The existing parameters do not seem to extend that far, unless I just haven’t found it yet.

I know bumping is frowned on – but I couldn’t find this to see if I had a response, so not sure if anyone else would find it to answer it – so please fogive the bumping!
Any ideas anyone?

No, that cannot be done. The archives shortcode was built off existing functions in wordpress core, and that function did not have date or category stuff in it.
Contact staff directly and request it. There have been a number of people wanting to have a categories ability so that you can list the posts by category, and what you are asking for would be great additions as well.
