Archive customization

  Is there any way to customize the archive widget so that there are up to two entries per month, and the entries are posted by date instead of month (e.g., April 10, 2010)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That would require access to the underlying wordpress PHP script files, and we do not have access to those here at wordpress.COM since this is a multi-user platform which means that we all share the same underlying files. A change by one would change it for everyone.

  Shoot. Thanks for explaining. Is there any other way to archive
  entries other than the archive widget? We’re trying to archive
  entries from past newsletters and have them searchable by news-
  letter date (there are two newsletters a month).

  Is there a way to list each blog entry on the Hoe page? I am not very computer literate and I am 63. Be easy on me.

  You might want to check out the archives shortcode which can be put into a post or a text widget in your sidebar. You could have it display all available posts or, rather than two entries per month, there is a “weekly” option.
