Archive List vs Full Posts

My blog makes extensive use of categories and subcategories. When a visitor selects a category, I’d like to display a list of all the post titles associated with the category, versus two or three full posts. How does this happen, please? And how many titles can be listed? Many thanks!

The number shown I believe is 10 or perhaps fewer. It’s hard coded and you cannot change this. We are all on a shared multiuser blogging platform and if you could make such changes it would affect us all.
If you do not fee the category widget is extensive enough of an index you can remove it and make your own site index page instead. Instructions are here http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/11/how-do-i-make-a-site-index/
At wordpress the categories and subcategories you use become your tags and the tag cloud page for wordpress.com is here http://wordpress.com/tags/

TT, note that the poster is talking about making a list of titles, not Posts.

With the setup here and since we’re on a shared environment with no access to the files, there’s no method of doing so. Only thing I can suggest is doing so manually as Pages. The method that TT mentions is when you click on Categories within your sidebar and it tales your visitors to the listing of Posts within that category.

    Hope this helps,

    BAUHhhahahahhhh! :(
I don’t understand the semantic differences between a site index list of titles linked to corresponding posts and a list of titles [of posts]?!
