Archive of Category

Are there instructions anywhere for adding an archive of 1 category to the bottom of a page? I’d like the page to update each time a new post in that category is published.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but that’s not the way archives work. Archives in wordpress.com blogs are automatically created. When we publish a post that post automatically appears in the Archives in datestamp order, and it also appears on the Categories and Tags pages that we assign to it.

I believe you could use the RSS widget for that, if you subscribed to the feed of that particular category.

@raincoaster
Good point. Readers can subscribe to the feed for the Category. Here’s a how to post on that. > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/03/30/wordpress-and-blogspot-subscribe-to-a-rss-category-feed/ -
Maybe I’m trying to find out how to create a category page and didn’t explain it well. Are there instructions for that?

You don’t need to create a category page. Such pages are created automatically when someone clicks on the link to the local category. To make the pages easy to access, just put the Categories widget in your sidebar. It won’t show the latests posts in each category, but when people click on a category the page will come upl.

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear enough about that above. Archives in wordpress.com blogs are automatically created by the software. When we publish a post that post automatically appears in the Archives in datestamp order, and it also appears on the Categories and Tags pages that we assign to it. Here’s the link to the support documentation for the categories widget that raincoaster referred to above. http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/categories-widget/
