Archive of only images extracted from posts

    I’d like to be able to create either a separate page (preferably) or a sub-category within the Archive Widget that can display only the images that I’ve inserted into my posts, sortable either by date or tag or category. Purpose is to consolidate all images into a thumbnail gallery for viewing and/or downloading from. Is there anyway to do this purely with CSS or within any other options available to a wordpress.com blog ? (i.e. I know how to do this manually but I’m looking to automate the process so each time I post a new entry the images will be automatically appended to the aggregate list or page.)

    There is no way to do this at wordpress.COM.
