Archive old posts and start fresh

I’d like to keep using my WP blog address but archive or move all my old posts (within WP) so I can start fresh. I’m using a basic WP.com blog

Hi there, it’s easy enough to export all the content to a backup archive.
You can either download the export file to your computer and archive it there or import that file to a new WordPressdotcom site.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/Regardless, only your written content (posts, pages, menus, etc.) will be exported. If you don’t intend on importing to a new site, you’ll need to save your images manually. However, when you import that file to a site here on WordPressdotcom, the images from your Media Library will be pulled over to the new site.
After you’ve done the above, you can empty your existing site following this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/
