Archive page listing just post titles?
-
Is there any way to create a page that lists just the titles of every post on the blog? The archives make it hard to see exactly what’s been posted without having to read every post, I’m just looking for something I can list the titles on..

The archives normally display extracts not whole posts. But we’ll need a link to your blog to see how best to help you.

I’d like to just be able to link to a page and have the titles showing..

You’d have to build it by hand. While whether categories display excerpts or whole posts is theme dependent, I don’t believe Archives are.

I was thinking it’d have to be manual. Was hoping there might some add on or script that could do it. Oh well..

@noisenotmusic: One possibility is using the Archives widget, which works like the Categories widget. What you get when you select a month is theme-dependent, as raincoaster says – see here:
Another possibility is the so-called Archives Page (a special template page option in the page editor, available under some themes only). What you get there is also theme-dependent – see here:

A third possibility is creating the list manually. The fast way to do this is with two windows open in your browser: drag&drop post titles from the actual blog pages to the VISUAL page editor (hit return after dropping each one).

A way you could just show the titles only is through the CSS upgrade. With the upgrade you could hide the extracts and meta sections in the archive page.

I’m sorry, the “option” I gave you is wrong. I didn’t check your blog before posting my comment. With the current theme you’re using, you cannot use the CSS upgrade to do what you want. I was thinking on the Sandbox theme when I posted that.
