Archive/category pages

  Hi all,

  Is it possible to use CSS to delete the use of the words “Archive for the” on some themes?

  And will CSS changes allow me to display posts in full on these categories?

  I’m playing around with the ChaoticSoul theme and don’t want the categories pages to be referred to as “archives”

  No. CSS doesn’t change functionality, only appearance, so you won’t get the full posts shown in category view. And the words ‘Archive for the’ are also hard-coded in. You could delete them, but you’d also end up deleting other stuff at the same time.

  The CSS upgrade will not change the functionality of any theme, so no to your second question. And you won’t be able to change those words, even with the upgrade. Your best bet is to choose a theme that works the way you want and use CSS to change the look.
