  How can I set posts to move into an “archived” section?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s not possible nor is it necessary. When we publish posts the software automatically posts them on the dynamic Archives pages as well as on the Categories and Tags Pages that we have assigned to the posts. They are displayed either in an Archives widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/archives-widget/ or we can create a static Page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ and use the Archives shortcode http://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/ to display them on it.
