archived stats

    If I upgrade my blog to business and install a stats plugin can I retrieve more robust stats i.e. URLs and closer locations from this archived data from this wp.com site? Can you reply to (email visible only to moderators and staff)?

    Hi there,

    The Business Plan will give you access to Google Analytics, and you’ll be able to install other analytics plugins if you want, but I can’t comment on exactly what types of data are collected by those services.

    Keep in mind that since the new European Union privacy laws came into effect, providers across the board have altered their systems to now collect less information, and it’s very unlikely you’ll be able to get more specific location info, for example, than we already provide on WordPress.com.
