  I for the life of me cannot figure out how to make an archive page and that is all I want. I’ve googled answers and tried YouTube…but something to do with php and I can’t figure out how to do that or even how to make a template on here…being my luck I won’t be able to make one because I have a free account. ~_~ Please help.

  You are certainly able to create an archives page using your free WordPress.com site (and it’s actually pretty easy :) ). Here is a link to guide you through: https://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/

  You can use a widget to display archives. Here is a link to guide you through how to do this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/archives-widget/
