  the answer will probably be real obvious, but why can i only see the last 12 months of archives, and how do i see the rest?
  (i’ve imported two years worth of blogs!)

  it’s nothing major, as i don’t think anyones going to want to go that far back, and if i need them they are stored, it’s just, you never know eh?

  ok. so i’d have to change the theme? nah, i’ll leave it like it is. the main reason i came to wordpress was the miriad of themes, and the more proffesional layout.
  apart from not being able to embed my podcast player, i’m really happy with it.

  You might want to try using the drop-down for the archives (you edit that in the widget).
