archives not showing all my posts

  when i look at my posts using monthly archives, they do not show up on the list but when i’m clicking on ‘previous entries’ from the main page, they appear. do any of you have any idea what the problem might be and how to fix it. tia.

  Do you have the number of entries on the front page set to 5? (In your Dashboard, Settings>>Reading>>Blog pages show at most XX posts.)

  It seems that the theme Chaotic Soul also splits the Monthly Archives this way, rather than listing all the entries for a month on one page. For example, in the May Archives, you can see a link to “Previous Entries” at the bottom of the page and that will bring you to the earlier post for May.

  My pleasure.

  BTW-Under Design>>Themes you can preview how your blog looks in other themes and you can preview *all* the present pages of your blog. Click on a Theme thumbnail to bring up the Preview and when you are done, back out by clicking on the X in the upper *left* corner of the Preview screen. That’s how I figured out what was going on. :)
