  I really like the way this lady has set up her archives page: http://blog.iblamethepatriarchy.com/archives/
  I realize that she uses wordpress.org, but is there anyway to set something like that up in wordpress.com? I especially like that blogs are just listed by title. The date on the left and the comment counts on the right are great too, its pretty much perfect.

  This is theme dependent. For example: the MistyLook theme here at wordpress.com has page templates for Archives and Links. engtech has done theme reviews that you can consult. http://internetducttape.com/tools/wordpress/wordpress-theme-reviews/

  If you have a specific theme request include the link to it and the reasons you wish to see it adapted to run on wordpress.com software in a feedback to staff. The feedback button is on the right hand corner of any admin side blog page.
