Archives page

How do I create an Archives Page like the one that the Bueno Theme used to have? That theme had a template for an Archives Page that neatly listed the following: (1) All posts (organized by month and next to each month-name, there was a post-count); (2) A list of categories; (3) A list of tags. Yes, I have looked at the “Archives Shortcode” page that WP Support provides, but all that gives users the ability to do is list archived posts by date only. Yes, I have looked at “Category Pages” that gives users the ability to create custom menus and have categorical archives. I’ve looked through some other Support docs too, but nothing addresses being able to create a simple, basic archive page that has all three of these things (dates, categories, tags) on one page! Man, I miss Bueno!!! So sad you had to retire it! So – – – do you have any information about how I create this? Or is the answer that I need to upgrade and then will magically have the ability to do this?
Also and my final question: are you aware of any other themes that provide an archives page (like Bueno’s!)? Why in the world are “Archive templates” not something that’s offered with each theme? Don’t people like to archive their stuff? (And no, I’d prefer not do to it using Widgets in a column on the side!)
Thanks SO MUCH, in advance, for your help with this. REALLY looking forward to hearing back from you.

No matter which theme we have our posts are automatically posted to the dynamic Archives, Tags, and Categories pages when we click publish. Only some themes have Pages templates like the one for Archives that you refer to. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/archives-and-links-templates/ However, we can all create a Page and use the Archives shortcode to achieve what you want.
