Archives widget in right side bar is visible even though it’s not selected

    I have an archives box visible on the ride hand side of my website as a widget apparently and it’s not been selected be a widget. Ideally that space would be blank but it still appears there even if I remove all widgets from my page both in the wordpress editor and the widget customizer within the appearance editor. I have no idea why it’s still appearing as everything else says it’s not there. Same issue with the ‘search bar’ widget too, it’s not listed as a widget but it’s still appearing on my home page in the ride side bar. Website is http://www.shelvingandracks.com

    Hello

    It looks like you use the self-hosted version of WordPress (WordPress.org). This forum is for websites hosted on WordPress.com. The difference between the two is explained at https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Your web host (i.e: Godaddy, Bluehost…etc) may be able to help you with this issue.

    Or try the support section of WordPress.org (https://wordpress.org/support/)
