Archiving
-
I’ve recently revived my blog, atlmalcontent.wordpress.com. Is there a way I can archive my old content, leaving it still accessible to readers but only if they search the archives. In other words, I want to exclude the old content from being included among my recent posts. Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Only one blog page is allowed per WordPress.com site, and all published posts will be displayed in it. However, there are various ways of hiding some or all posts from the front page.
One way would be to set the posts per page at three, and then keep increasing the number as you publish additional new posts. I see that your latest three posts were published in the last three days, and the rest were published in between June 2006 and March 2016. You may display only the October 2017 posts on the front page by temporarily setting the posts per page to three. When you publish the next post, then increase it to four, etc.
The number of posts per page may be set at Settings > Writing > Content Types. See the Content Types section of the Writing Settings support page for information and instructions.
Another way would be to hide all posts from the front page by making the front page static, and displaying posts elsewhere. You could use category pages to arrange posts into separate categories. For example, you might have categories such as “Old Posts” and “New Posts,” and subcategories for the years 2006-2017. See the Category Pages support page.
