archiving media on .com site

  Hello, I have a .com site which will have a large amount of photos added to it each month. At the end of each month I would like to put up fresh photos and have the last months photos accessible via a link at the side of the page – like viewing old blog posts. How can I do this with media? Thanks!

  Hi there,

  Media by itself isn’t archived the same way that blog posts are archived. However, if you’re adding the media to a regular page, you could then take it down and put it into an Image Widget or a Gallery Widget in the sidebar at the end of the month. That way visitors will still be able to view those older photos in the sidebar after you put up the fresh photos.
