Archiving posts

    I don’t want my posts to go straight to archive. How do I stop this happening?

    By default, the functionality to archive your posts in WordPress.com is built in and cannot be removed. However, you can choose to show/hide it from your site.

    If your archived posts are showing in a widget/sidebar, you can remove it. In the doc below, in the image under “Configuration”, you would click the “Delete” link to remove the widget. Then click Save & Publish for the changes to apply:

    If there is an Archives page in the menu, you can remove it from your custom menu by going to My Site -> Menus -> Select your menu -> Click the pencil icon next to the Archives page -> Click the red trash can icon (next to the Move button) -> Click the Save button.
