Archiving Posts

    Is there a way that I can archive all my past posts? I want them to still be accessible, I just want to be able to start fresh on my blog. Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

    The only way to do this would be to create a new free site, export all your posts to that site, and delete them from your current site.

    Blog posts cannot be archived in the sense that emails can. On a WordPress site, the “Archive” refers to all posts that have been published on a site, so the moment a post is published, it’s technically already part of the archives, that is, the various lists of posts that exist for the different categories, tags, dates, and authors on the site.

    And new posts are continually being added to those lists. It’s not possible to create a new blank list on a site for future new posts. The only way to get a blank posts list again, is to delete all past posts.
