Archiving Posts
-
I would like to make my website’s blog page only have postings from one month. I find endless scrolling annoying, at best.
How can I move the posts from one month out of the endless scroll on the blog page, and archive them into their own month? Once that is done, how would I archive 12 months of any one year into their own section?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every time you publish a post that post will automatically appear in the Archives. You cannot “move” archived posts around. They are displayed automatically by the software in reverse chronological order just they same way as they appear on your main page for posts, which by default is the front page of your blog.
The Archives Widget organizes your previously published posts by month. This can be handy for readers who want to browse your older content.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/archives-widget/Dashboard > Settings > Reading is where you enter the number of posts you want displayed on the main page for posts and also where you disable infinite scroll.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/infinite-scroll/#disabling-infinite-scrollBy default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
