Archiving posts by month on separate page

  I’ve searched the forums and can’t seem to find an answer to my specific question.

  I’d like to have only this month’s posts show up on my main blog page, and archive the rest on another page. How do I accomplish moving February’s posts to another page? Visitors can click on “February 2008” and bring up the month’s posts on one page, but I can’t find a way to initially display only this month’s posts. I’ve looked at the import/export function, but it doesn’t seem to do what I want it to do. Thanks for any suggestions.

  There is no “time related” sorting of posts on the main page. It is only displayed by the number of entries to show or by a static “page” that you have created and chosen as the only one to show. The only thing I can think of would be to keep changing the “number of posts” to be the number in the month you are currently posting in.
