Are adverts related to use of Publicize?
-
I’ve had this blog since 2007 and have never seen any adverts (I often access the site without being logged in).
Today I set up Publicize to Twitter and also pulled some content via RSS Grafitti into Facebook.
Now I have flashing “fat belly” adverts in the body of my posts.
Have I been afflicted by adverts because I’ve started using these features?I understand that you have the right to put adverts on our pages but they could be a lot more tasteful and not made to look as though they are part of our blog posts.
I also understand that I can buy the ‘No Ads’ upgrade for $30/year.If I stop using Publicize to Twitter and the RSS feed would that stop the adverts appearing?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The URL is

Thanks

The ads have been there since 2006 actually. This is not happening as a result of you using Publicize or RSS Graffiti.
On the other hand, if you have any complaint about the content of the ad itself, here’s how to submit it to WordPress.com:
