Are Google images ok for Featured Image?

  Are Google images ok for putting in my featured image in my 2010 theme? By Google Images I mean all those pages and pages of images that come up if you click the IMAGES tab in the browser. I have been assuming that they are ok for publication or re-use and are considered public domain, but I’d like to make sure.

  I earlier checked in Support and TOS, but what I saw dealt with what to do if you think that someone has taken your work from your blog. It didn’t say what not to take and what cannot be used when you are posting to your own blog.

  Yes, I know that there is a site where one can get free images and I have visited that site.

  Well, I found the answer to what I referred to in paragraph two above:

  I poked around a bit more in TOS and whereas before I did not see a list of what one should not do, this time I clicked onto SUSPENDED BLOGS and within that section clicked another link called TOS and found some paragraphs on Responsibility of Contributors.

  I am still not clear about what images I can and cannot use in my Featured Image in my 2010 theme, though.
