Are large scale images now a Premium only feature?
-
The problem is that when I upload an image to WordPress, no matter its size, the option of preset sizes (large, medium, thumbnail) isn’t available. The only available option is the Original Size. Not only that, when I click on the image in the post, it never opens up another view in another browser window as has always been the case. Are large scale images no longer an option unless you have a Premium membership? I’m using Windows 10 for months and have not encountered this issue before today.

The editor was changed recently. When you insert the image, click it once. That brings up a toolbar which has image/text alignment, sizing (+/-) and caption options. Also, handles appear around the image so you can either drag one of the corners to make it smaller or click the “-” in the toolbar.
To have the resized image link to the larger version, click on the image in your post, then click the insert/edit link icon in the main editor toolbar. It should automatically fill in with the url of the full size image. Then save.
