are mature tags necessary if set to private?

    I already have a good idea what the answer will be, but I just want to make sure.

    If I wanted to post mature content, including moderate profanity, nude photos (shots I’ve taken myself, I’m a photographer – no porn), but I have everything in my blog area set to “private”, would mature settings be necessary?

    My blog is already unsearchable, and accessible only to WP members of my choosing. On top of this, I have private blog areas for my eyes only and it’s in this area where I plan to post mature (R-rated) content.

    I can’t see how a mature content tag would be necessary if I’m the only one that’s going to see it, but better safe than sorry.
