Are multiple post pages possible, or are there alternatives?

  I have a static home page with a main posts page. I would like to start a new, separate posts page on my blog. It is my understanding that you can only have one. If I make a new page my main posts page, what will happen to the posts from my previous main posts page? Will they still be visible as they currently exist?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
