Hi there,
I do not see any upgrades under your @commuterpop WordPress.com account when I check on our end. You can confirm by visiting this page: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/.
Is it possible you made your purchase under a different login? I can confirm that railwaysim.wordpress.com is registered at WordPress.com but is under a different account and not your @commuterpop login.
If you do not recall how to log in to your other account (so you can access that site) you can fill out the form here to get assistance from our Account Recovery team: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

I have now tried my different mail adresses without success.
(I’m sorry, usually I keep track of this kind of things…).On a couple of them I get the message:
User ***** Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as “*****” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “ROS”. If you are not “*****”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “*****” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you. It’s hard to ask the admin if it’s you, and you can’t get in…
And I can’t use any of the methods in the link you provided:
Do you have a transaction ID?
Do you have an activation URL or key?
Do you have two factor authentication codes?as I don’t have any welcome mail etc. left (And I wouldn’t have bothered you then, promise).
What I do have is all the documentation and coding I did that is the material for the articles on the site, and witnesses to my work at Discord and https://www.railwayoperationsimulator.com/

Since you don’t have any methods required for that form, please send an email to
passwordhelp (at) wordpress (dot) comexplaining the situation, and WordPress.com support will see if there’s anything they can do for you.Note that it may take a day or two for someone to respond to your message.
Best of luck!
