Are my tags alright?
-
I’m just wondering if someone would like to look at a few posts and see if I’ve been tagging them alright.
Sometimes on other blogs I see that those people have so many tags and I can usually only think of 4 or 5 tags. Even then it’s usually very difficult for me to find a tag that ”fits”. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You appear to be doing fine. The rule of thumb is to use the minimum combined total of Categories and Tags that accurately reflect content in any post.
Unfortunately, dubious people have spread the ridiculous myth that if you use a large number of tags your blog posts are more likely to be found. This is not true. The overuse of categories and/or categories and tags is called spamdexing. It has very bad consequences here at WordPress.com re: global tags > missing posts and it has bad consequences with Google positioning in search engine page results, yet the myth lingers on.

That actually makes sense. And how about when you post something and that ”suggetion” window pops up? It will give some tag suggestions, should I use them or just use my own?
