Are my visits counted in stats?

    When I want to work on my blog I go directly to the /wp-admin page. I log in, blog, and log out to see my changes.

    I thought I was never counted on the stats. Today, I repeated logging in and logging out 3, 4, and 5 times and saw my stats go from 41, 42, to 43. As you can see I don’t get that much traffic. Why is it that my visits are being counted? Should I never log out? Last month I had 300 hits; no I wonder if that is correct since I visit my blog multiple times a day.

    Help?

    Don’t log out if you don’t want your views counted.
