Are page additions sent out as email notifications to email followers?

  Just wondering if new pages added are sent as notifications to email followers? I have started using some pages, with sub-pages to consolidate different subjects, and I would like to think my email followers get those as well as my regular posts. Thanks of any help.

  Hi there!

  Pages will not be emailed to your followers. Pages are meant for static content, such as an About page or a Contact page. If you’re trying to collect certain posts based on a topic, you might want to use Category Pages.

  Thank you, Shawna. Is it possible to convert a published page to a post? I would then start using the Category pages as you suggested. if it is not possible to convert; how does one copy the content of the page and paste it into a new post? Following that, I assume I would then delete the page?

  There isn’t a way to automatically transfer a page to a post, but you can copy and paste the content retaining all formatting by using the Text editor.

  Open the page you want to transfer in the editor. Open the text editor and select all of the content. Copy that and open a new post. Make sure you have the text editor open in the post and paste the copied content.
