Are periods or dashes better for image title names for increased SEO?

  Is there a difference between using a period or a dash to separate words in image title names to help increase your SEO?

  Hi there,

  From my knowledge, for the file path the dash (hypen) would be better than a period. I would recommend searching SEO guide for images. I found that things like image file name, size and location may make a difference, but I can’t give you a definitive answer of how much or how reliable the sites that I was looking at are.

  But, it seems like the hypen is the preferred method over the period. :)
