Are post formats for older post not theme supported?

    Hello WordPress!

    I really like the intergalactic theme but when I was demoing it, I noticed that the newer posts fit nicely with the theme post format but older ones were not. I don’t know if this has to do with the old version of creating posts because I’ve noticed this on other themes as well.

    I checked the format for the newer and older posts and both were “standard” format. Is there something that can be done to fix this?
