Are private single posts possible?

  Is it possible to post single, password protected, post (not the whole blog)?
  If so, how do I do it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  “Private” and “password-protected” are two different things. See here:

  On the post editor page you will note the “publish” module.
  click on “Visibility” and you will see option such as “public” and “Password Protect”
  select “Password Protect”
  enter the password that will be needed to view the post
  click “ok,”

  … and “publish” when you are ready to publish.
