  is the list of administrators displayed publicly anywhere?

  No, but if you use the Author widget or a theme that lists authors, it’ll show that. And because it’s somewhere in the metadata, a search engine might connect the admin with the blog through a search like, “pookiebeans raincoaster.com” if pookiebeans were an admin who had never made a post.

  For total privacy, always create an entirely new account which then creates the WP.com blog.
