Are site stats off or did I make a mistake with my mirror site?
-
I just created a sandbox, or pretend blog, to play with themes on this morning. All the text is placeholder text so I can what formatting looks like.
In one hour I have supposedly had 125 views even though each page is set to private.
So far one of my most successful posts ever – but not sure how or why people are seeing it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I believe that Staff are working on site stats and moving them all to the main page of WordPress.com . Also note that “Your own visits to your blog (for logged-in users of public blogs only)” are being recorded and Staff can enter you blog as well.

IMO it makes no sense to individually set each page or post to “private” in a mirror blog. What makes sense is to use the privacy settings and set the entire blog to “private”.

Thank you Timethief – I had set the blog to private and then while I was working I saw page views so I set each page to private thinking I had done it wrong.
I forgot that the page views where my own :-|
