Hi Happiness Engineer,
I want to make a WordPress Web Site. Are some themes better suited for making a website (as opposed to a blog) than others? Thank you. Willard Crawford.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Technically you can use any theme here http://theme.wordpress.com/ but I prefer to use only themes with a top horizontal menu.
Strictly speaking a blog is a website but let’s differentiate. The main difference between a blog structure and website structure is the communication style. Blogs are post based structures that provide for and encourage interactive communication. Websites are page based structures that operate as a one-way noticeboards.
A WordPress blog can either be structured as a page based website or its conventional post based structure can be retained.

Here’s a link to a custom menu walk-through > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/08/11/wordpress-com-custom-menu-walk-through/
There are many common errors, misunderstanding and misconceptions when creating custom menus and you can read about them here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/12/19/custom-menus/
