Are squeeze or name capture pages allowed on blog?

I’m confused. I want to add my domain name to my blog but in reading some of the restrictions, I’m not sure if I can use a sqeeze page for my opt in list on my blog? Help. Thanks John
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Squeeze pages are landing pages created to solicit opt-in email addresses from prospective subscribers. wordpress.com blogs do have a blog subscriptions as a feature > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/blog-subscription-widget/ we can also create contact forms on static pages using the wordpress.com contact form shortcode.
However, squeeze pages are for direct marketing and I believe you need to read > types of blogs allowed and not allowed at wordpress.com > http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/

Regarding the purchase of a domain and domain mapping:
Before Upgrading
The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes and plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and must still abide by our Terms of Service accordingly. -
I could be wrong but it does sound to me that you ought to consider hiring a web host and downloading free software from wordpress.org. Have you read this support documentation entry? >
