Are the ALT keys in DFW acting as they should?
-
There’s a thread about the Distraction Free Writing over on wordpress.org/support where the ALT/+ ALT/- ALT/0 keys mentioned in the Help file on keyboard shortcuts are mentioned.
It took a few people working on it to figure out that *yes*, they do work, *but only when you have first clicked in the bar at the top of the DFW window*.
Is this what the intention was? If so, perhaps the help file could be updated to say that they focus has to be in a certain part of the screen before they will work?

Thanks, I’d read that but I really don’t see a reference to ALT-PLUS, ALT-MINUS and ALT-0 there, so unless I’m missing something yes, I’ll contact staff (which I guess is what I thought I was doing here).

This is the WordPress.com support forum. Here we use only the WordPress.com support documentation found at this link http://en.support.wordpress.com. The codex applies only to self hosted WordPress.org installs which run on differenct software. All support for those WordPress.org installs is provided here http://wordpress.org/support/

Yes. I understand that. It’s just that this feature is acting exactly the same on WordPress.com and WordPress.org (I use both) so when the WordPress.org folks finally figured out the problem, I thought it would be of interest to WordPress.com users as well.
I tried submitting the support incident, but got a server error. Will try again.
