Are the "changes" playing up?

So far today I’ve had problems reblogging – the link has gone from the Admin menu, and from the “My Subscriptions page it is REALLY wonky (sorry, best description I can come up with).

I just tried commenting on a comment (i.e. nested comment) and got a browser message that WP was not responding “due to a long running script”! Nasty!

Just seems overall a little flaky ATM.

I’m on IE9 – yes, I know, not the preferred browser – but still used by a large percentage of the world’s population!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

IE seems prone to the “long running script” thing where it never seems to be an issue with other browsers. It seems the only reports are from people on IE.

Did you try logging out, clearing your browser cache and cookies, restarting your browser and then trying again?

I’ve done that so often with WP I’m actually thinking of loading Google Chrome. Oh the shame of it.

Well, Chrome isn’t the model of compatibility either, but generally it is a better than IE in my experience. I’ve moved all my clients off Chrome and IE and to Firefox.

And after FF’s last update, I moved permanently to Chrome both on the netbook and on the desktop. Haven’t found a reason yet to regret it.
