Are the questions in these forums viewable in Google searches under our username

  Out of curiosity, I Googled my USERNAME and all of my questions here in the forums showed up! Does this mean that anyone who knows my username will be able to Google it and see all of what I asked in this forum? I suspect the answer is YES.

  I made the mistake of including my real name in my username. I should have used an alias. I would love to change my username to something more anonymous.

  Yes. All of these threads are indexed by Google. If you wish to get private support to address your issue please contact Staff directly.

  Timethief, thanks for this info. I think I will change my username unless there are negative consequences. And then I will not reveal my username to anyone. I don’t know how it happened, but one of my friends somehow knew what I was inquiring about in these forums. I prefer some privacy!

  I understand where you are coming from. Please do not post about any name change here or you will defeat your purpose. Please contact Staff for any support you need and you the privacy option to sort this out.
