Are the template design examples achievable without the cutom upgrade?
-
The oxygen theme is shown with a black menu box on the left, yet I cannot find a way to recreate it on my blog. Is it a custom design upgrade? There should be a note on the theme info stating this, I am having a hard enough time figuring out how to format it without being misled by the template example…

Hi,
I’m sorry for the confusion, and I’ll be happy to help.
Is it a custom design upgrade?
No, this is built into the theme.
To add that menu, you’ll need to 1) create a custom menu, 2) save the custom menu, then 3) assign your newly–created custom menu as the Secondary Menu under Theme Locations (all under Appearance -> Menus).
There should be a note on the theme info stating this
I’ll look into seeing if we can add a better description on the Oxygen theme page.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that we’ve updated the description on the Oxygen theme showcase page to better explain the custom menus.

I hope this helps! :-)
