Are there discount coupons for Ukrainian enterprenuers?

I’m considering switching current CMS Tilda (russian based) to WordPress.
But one time payment looks big for me. Is there a chance to have a discount coupon for Ukrainians?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

We don’t offer country-specific discount coupons on WordPress.com, but can you tell me what features you’re looking for, and which of our plans you’re interested in?

In case you haven’t seen yet, we launched a cheaper Starter plan yesterday, alongside the existing Pro plan :)

I’d like to use Plugins feature, that’s why I’m considering Pro plan (180$ a year).
I understand there is no country – specific plans.
I thought you could follow other guys like namecheap and stand for Ukraine…

  • I see our social media team has since sent you a coupon via Twitter.

Can you tell me what features you’re looking for that require plugins? Features from many popular plugins are already built into WordPress.com, so it might be possible to do what you want on our free or starter plan instead.

I’m looking for the LMS plugin, so to publish courses
I received 10% discount which, but only 50% might help…

That is the only coupon code we have available at the moment.

I would recommend signing up for our Promotions newsletter as we may offer different discounts in the future:

So you do nothing to support Ukraine?

  • Hi there,

I’m not sure I understand. We do stand with Ukraine, as you can see from the thoughts our founder has shared here. However, as others have mentioned, we do not have a coupon or promotion that you can use to save 50% off the cost of our plans. That specific request is not something that we are able to help with.

I’d like to use Plugins feature, that’s why I’m considering Pro plan (180$ a year).
I understand there is no country – specific plans.

If cost is an issue you also have the option to use the free open-source version of WordPress, which you can download at wordpress.org and install on any traditional web-host.

If you are looking for a good web host for your self-hosted site, we recommend the following providers, who all offer easy-to-use wizards to help you get your first WordPress site set up and running:

    Hosting

That said, most major web hosting providers will work, so you can just ask if the one you are interested in supports WordPress. We do not control what other hosts charge, and it’s likely you will be able to shop around for the best deal possible, and enjoy all the benefits and flexibility of running your site on WordPress.

I’m looking for the LMS plugin, so to publish courses

It’s not possible to upload plugins on WordPress.com without an upgrade, but regardless of who you use as your provider, you may want to consider the Sensei LMS plugin, which is free and would allow you to set up a full elearning site: https://wordpress.org/plugins/sensei-lms/

Hope this helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance or if you have any questions.

Thanks for the link, it only proves WordPress does nothing to really support Ukraine.
We don’t need words, we need actions.
But I see your position here. Thanks.
