Are there 'No-No' tags that may effect Reader listing?

Hi all,
I have been reading as much as I can about why some posts don’t get on the Reader. Such as keeping number of tags under 15, no affiliate links etc which I do… My site is broadly photo & travel themed & I have just done a post about whether or not using post-processing is cheating ( I know controversial question) So ideally I’d love as many eyeballs seeing the post as possible to generate discussion. It hasn’t listed for any of my tags and I wonder if it’s because a couple are brands.
EG I had Nikon, Canon, Pixlr, Adobe & Photoshop as tags initially as they are all mentioned in the article. But now I wonder if it makes the post seem commercial? Which it certainly isn’t.
Anyhoo…just wondering. I’ve deleted the post and will resubmit this week with any ideas generated here. Thx in advance for any advice.

OK I reckon that it may appear as ‘marketing’ with all those brands. I’ll remove. Also I changed my language to en-gb (English UK) yesterday so I have changed back to just en (English). I’ll see how I go when I repost this week.
