Are there two "Home" pages?
-
I notice on my Stats page that I get hits on my “Welcome” page which I set up as my home page and I also get hits on the “Home” page. The numbers are different. Do I have two home pages? I want to be sure that there is not some original homepage floating out there that I’m not seeing. How can I have it so there is only one home page which I have designated as “Welcome”. When I go to the Pages list I only see the Welcome page. Thanks, Craig

You have set your site to have a static “Welcome” page as your home page.
Your “Latest Posts” is your dynamic blogging page. You can’t see it in your list of pages because it is a special sort of page which contains all of your posts. When you add a post, that page automatically changes. You can’t edit it as you can edit a static page.
To add to the confusion, that dynamic page is often called a home page. It’s the heart or home of your blog.
