Are Twitter followers no longer added in follower count?

  Hello WordPress.

  Our blog’s follower count went from 503 down to 474. I wondered what was wrong, until I checked the stats page and saw that our 29 Twitter followers are no longer counted.

  So now it says:

  <b>Followers: 491

  234 WordPress.com blog followers. 17 WordPress.com comment followers.
  240 Facebook followers. </b>

  Is it supposed to be that way? And will Facebook followers not be counted soon?

  Ah okay, never mind. Someone accidentally turned off Publicize without my knowledge. Sorry!

  Reconnect to twitter and see the followers again. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-twitter

  No one can turn off twitter except you even if you have multiple contributors. Were you just publicizing how much followers you have?
