Are we allowed to insert affiliate program links with a premium account?

  I am thinking about joining two affiliate programs, is it okay to insert the occasional link (where it is relevant to the post) — is this allowed?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, and you don’t need a premium account in order to do it. You cannot make a blog that is built specifically to do affiliate marketing, but you are allowed to insert the occasional plain text link in your blog. Not in a sidebar, not in a footer, not in a banner, and not an affiliate image link. Just a text link. http://en.wordpress.com/tos/
