Are we allowed to use Adsense to promote our blog on other sites?

    I understand we are not allowed to put adsense or advertisements on our site. what i am asking is can i pay for adsense to advertise my blog elsewhere?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    That’s between you and Google. If you want to advertise your blog on other sites, contact Google and ask for a price sheet. It’d be the same thing if you were to print out some ads and staple them on telephone posts.

    Why would you do this?

    2 ways to promote your blog:
    1 – have good content. If it’s not good people will not come back.
    2 – get the word out. comment (appropriately) on other people’s blogs. If you are using other forums put it in your sig. Put it in emails. Tell friends. Ping other blogs correctly. Tag correctly. Audience will build if you do this sort of thing but you need the content to engage people.
