Are you able to put a Poll on the front page?

Hello,
I have previously run a poll on my website using polldaddy. However to vote in the poll people had to actually go into the post to vote. Is there a way to have a simple poll on the side bar? Using Polldaddy or another widget?
I am using the Delicious magazine theme.
