Are you allowed to link from your sidebar to an estore or company site?

  Are you allowed to put a picture in your sidebar with a link that leads to an estore or company website?

  Is that considered advertising?

  Also, if you own your domain does anything change?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi vorks,

  It’s hard to answer a question like this definitively without seeing the blog, but generally speaking, an image that links to an ecommerce platform or another company will be okay, as long as the image itself is not an advertisement.

  The rules do not change when you’ve purchased upgrades such as domains.
